A trio of Kansas City Chiefs players, two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes, future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce, and newly acquired wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, sat courtside for Game 3 of the Western Conference finals between the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves at American Airlines Center on Sunday night.
They were all in attendance for the Mavericks’ 116-107 win that moved Dallas to within one more victory of its first NBA Finals appearance since 2011.
The Chiefs trio was also joined by Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.
The NBA’s official X account posted an awkward 5-second video of Brittany and Patrick, who clearly thought they were taking a picture.
The clip was not only short but also had weird music added to it, and it was in slow motion.
It gave fans time to notice a Mavericks fan who was sporting a shirt that had “ass” on it.

As for the game they attended, no team in 154 scenarios has come back from a 3-0 deficit in the NBA playoffs and won a series, and that is where the Minnesota Timberwolves find themselves. The Mavericks can complete a stunning sweep in Game 4 on Tuesday in Dallas.
You can likely expect Patrick Mahomes and his wife to be courtside to cheer on the team as they try to return to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2011.
Patrick Mahomes Defended Controversial Teammate Harrison Butker After Commencement Speech
Following his contentious commencement speech earlier this month, in which he called Pride Month a “deadly sin” and asserted that a woman’s accomplishments in the home are more valuable than any academic or professional goals, Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes defended teammate Harrison Butker.
The three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Mahomes told reporters that Butker is a “good person” despite “not necessarily agreeing” with his comments.
“I’ve known him for seven years,” the two-time NFL MVP said after the team’s organized team activities (OTA’s). “I judge him by the character that he shows every single day … that’s someone who cares about the people around him, cares about his family, and wants to make a good impact in society.”
Mahomes said that in a locker room, he encounters people from different backgrounds with different views.
“We’re not always going to agree, there are certain things that he said that I don’t necessarily agree with but I understand the person that he is and he’s trying to do whatever he can to lead people in the right direction,” he said, via CNN.com
