The second round series between the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers is shaping up to be one of the most exciting NHL playoff series we’ve seen in a while. They entered Game 5 tonight with a combined 36 goal through their first four games.
And Game 5 has been no slouch, either, as the teams were tied 4-4 through the first 40 minutes, after combining for a four-goal flurry within 71 seconds during the second period.

It’s hard to take the attention away from all the action taking place on the ice, but four Flames fans seated behind the Oilers bench have been able to do just that tonight. During all the back-and-forth action, viewers of the “Battle of Alberta” couldn’t help but noticed the row of blonde females dressed up in their rodeo gear behind Edmonton coach Jay Woodcroft.
