On Thursday night, the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys squared off in a sloppy Week 4 contest at MetLife Stadium. Dallas walked away with a 20-15 win, and fans could not get enough of Olympic gold medalist Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone making an appearance.
Sydney is a New Jersey native, so she likely attended the game as a Giants fan, hoping to see her hometown team steal a win despite being the underdog.
She later took to Instagram to post a photo of herself on the field, sporting an all-white outfit and accessorized with the two gold medals she had just won at the Paris Olympic games.
“I was locked up and seen her on the TV and wrote her name down so I could be her biggest fan when I got out,” said one comment.
“love the glasses, the beautiful smile and your medals!! well earned!!” said another.
“@sydneymclaughlin16 strap on sum pads syd. I’m damn sure u could catch a deep TD pass!” joked another.

“Such an honor to have met you last night in the suite. Continue to shine and be a role model, especially to the little girls that look up to you like my daughters. God bless you,” a fourth added.
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone Is A Four-Time Gold Medalist
Sydney’s first Olympics was in 2021 in Tokyo, where she won two gold medals in the 400-meter hurdles and the 4 x 400-meter relay.
She performed even better in 2024, winning a gold medal in the 400-meter hurdles again and setting a world record at 50.37 seconds. She wasn’t done, either, as she got another gold medal in the 4 x 400-meter relay again.
Sydney is still only 25 years old, so there is a very high possibility she can compete again at the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 2028.
