A video of rapper Wale getting into it with Eagles fans after Sunday’s NFC Championship Game has surfaced online following Philly’s win over the Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Eagles are Super Bowl-bound in the wake of their blowout win. Wale, a known Commanders fan, was obviously unhappy with the result. It appears his frustrations were compounded by some form of taunting while at the stadium, as he was ready to throw hands.
Fortunately, the confrontation didn’t escalate past words as other fans got between the parties before security intervened.
The most shocking thing about all of this is it took several days before anyone even knew about this.
“How come no one said Wale was trying to fight Eagles fans at the game??? How was this missed all week?” an X user shared as the caption to the clip shown below.

“Your man a 5’6” coward. Whole city had his back and he still running away from @Wale (who was by himself),” someone else observed.

Wale Wanted The Eagles Investigated Last Year
There’s clearly no love lost between Wale and the Eagles. The rapper called on the NFL to investigate his team’s NFC East rivals after they traded for wide receiver Jahan Dotson last year, claiming they needed to be hit with a RICO charge.
He had every right to be suspicious, given that division rivals don’t typically engage in trades. But it’s not as if the Commanders weren’t involved, too.
While his disappointment is understandable, Wale should be pleased with what Washington accomplished this season. Next season could be even better.
