10-year-old Philadelphia Eagles fan Trey Howard has stolen the heart of America.
Howard, a ten-year-old boy from Philadelphia, has won hearts with his heroic gesture as he jumped to save his four-year-old sister during the deadly plane crash.
Days after the nation was still in shock over an American Airlines passenger jet colliding with a Black Hawk helicopter and killing 67 people, another scary scene would play out in Philly.
A medical transport jet crashed in Northeast Philadelphia and killed seven people while injuring 24 others.
One person was killed on the ground while the six others were on that jet.
It could’ve been much worse if not for Trey Howard.
Howard is one of the survivors despite being seriously injured by flying debris.

The 10-year-old boy is still making a “miraculous” recovery after protecting his younger sister from the flying debris.
Trey’s dad, Andre Howard Jr., says he was struck in the head with metal and was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he underwent brain surgery.
The young boy’s family was informed that there “was a strong chance he might not survive.”
Miraculously, he woke up, and the first words from Trey Howard were about his sister.
“He asked me, ‘Daddy, what’s today?’ I was like, ‘Monday.’ ‘OK, wait. We didn’t play yesterday did we?’ ‘No, you didn’t miss the Super Bowl,’” Andre said.
