The Cleveland Browns are taking heat online following some surprising news concerning rookie Michael Hall Jr.
The first-year defensive tackle was arrested on domestic violence charges, with FOX 8 obtaining a police report claiming the player was involved in an argument with his fiancee that escalated and ended in him putting a gun to her head.
The argument is understood to have started over money for a dental procedure for their 11-month-old, who was present at the time of the incident.
Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com is reporting that Michael Hall Jr. is back at the team’s training facility on Wednesday. While he wasn’t seen on the field after the morning walk-through, he was spotted at practice in the afternoon.
Fans were not expecting such and have been criticizing the team on social media since the news dropped.

The Cleveland Browns Will Support Michael Hall Jr.
The Browns have not announced any discipline for the player, and it’s unclear what his role will be heading into the season. It does appear that they will treat him like he’s innocent until proven guilty.
“We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall, Jr. last night,” the team said in a statement on Tuesday. “Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at the time.”
Safety Rodney McLeod told reporters the team will be supporting Michael Hall Jr. through this.
“We’re a team. We’re a family,” he said. “And we’re understanding that certain things are going to arise and take place and so you have to treat it as such. We’re all human beings and so for us we’re just trying to learn more about what took place and we will handle things accordingly.”
The 21-year-old is due in court in September.
