Earlier today, we learned that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is unvaccinated, as he tested positive for Covid and will now be forced to miss at least 10 days.
Many were wondering how this happened, as Rodgers seemed to confirm he was vaccinated when asked about it by a reporter prior to the start of the season.
Then it was revealed that Rodgers had actually been given a homeopathic treatment from his personal doctor, which supposedly raises his antibody levels. Ian Rapoport reported that Rodgers had petitioned the league to accept his alternative treatment as enough to qualify him as “vaccinated.” However, he his request was declined by the league.
So how did this all happen? Why would Aaron Rodgers put his status in jeopardy by not taking the vaccine? Is A-Rod an anti-vaxxer? What’s the deal with this alternative medicine route?
