Singer and songwriter Rachel Platten had the honor of performing the National Anthem ahead of the ‘Monday Night Football’ Wild Card showdown between NFC’s Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams.
With L.A. being ravaged by wildfires at the moment, the game is being held in Arizona. As you might imagine, anyone associated with the former is going through it right now, given the damage caused and the rising death toll.
Platten seemed pretty emotional after her performance, appearing to cry. Social media didn’t buy it, though.
“Rachel Platten should not do the National Anthem again and that dramatic cry in the camera….give me a break,” a user declared.
“Fake crying after singing the anthem 😂,” another laughed.
