Poor Teddy Bridgewater. When it comes to making tackles after turnovers, he just can’t ever seem to get it right.
Earlier in the season, during a game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Denver Broncos quarterback was torched by social media for giving zero effort to tackle Darius Slay during his 82-yard fumble return for a touchdown. Replay cameras caught Teddy pull his best matador move as he made way for Slay, giving the Eagles’ cornerback a clear path to the end zone.
I’m sure the Broncos coaching staff let Bridgewater have it after that one, too.
Fast forward to week 13, and Teddy Two Gloves had a prime opportunity to redeem himself. After throwing a fourth quarter interception to Chiefs safety Daniel Sorensen, Bridgewater actually went for the tackle this time. Unfortunately for him, he just bounced off Sorensen, barely impeding the defensive back on his way to the end zone.

You gotta credit the guy for at least trying this time around. But that was still quite embarrassing. And Twitter clearly wasn’t going to let it go:
That was just one of many lowlights for Teddy Bridgewater on the evening, as he threw two interceptions during a 22-9 loss to the Chiefs.
