When Colin Kaepernick requested a “professional route runner” to help him during a workout, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett answered the call.
Lockett responded to Kaepernick’s Tweet by telling the exiled quarterback, “Let’s do it bro!” The former Pro Bowler even said he’d bring his brother along to help out.
Well, it appears as though Lockett stayed true to his word, because footage was released today of the star wideout catching passes from Kaepernick. And while the footage was no doubt edited to show only their best moments from the workout, there’s also no denying the fact that the two look quite in sync for two guys who have never played together.
Not surprisingly, the footage immediately sent Twitter into a frenzy.
With the Seattle Seahawks in desperate need of a quarterback — and likely out of the running for Deshaun Watson, according to sources — could Kaepernick be a legitimate target for Pete Carroll’s team?
