Today is a reminder to not believe EVERYTHING you read on the internet.
Take, for instance, a recent trending video of current Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields. James T. Yoder of Chat Sports posted a video of Fields talking, and Yoder wrote out a fake transcript of the Ohio State product claiming that he was paid to transfer from Georgia.
But when you click the video and put the volume up, you’ll quickly realize that the entire thing was silent. Fields never said anything that Yoder wrote. You bought it anyway, didn’t you?
Adding more humor to this? Yoder’s tweet and fake Fields transcript led to the latter trending on Twitter.
Don’t worry if you were initially fooled by this. Yoder managed to trick plenty of other Twitter users.

Fields spent his first collegiate season at Georgia before transferring to the Ohio State Buckeyes program in 2019. The 2020 Buckeyes reached the National Championship Game but were defeated soundly by the Alabama Crimson Tide, 52-24.
The Chicago Bears traded up to draft Fields with the 11th overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft. After a frustrating rookie year, Fields improved as both a runner and a passer, finishing the 2022 season with 1,143 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.
