NFL fans all over the country are in complete shock after seeing videos of Kansas City Chiefs players Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones walking out on stage with Morgan Wallen before a performance.
A lot of controversy stems from what Wallen himself was wearing at the concert.
At first glance, people noticed that Wallen was wearing a red No. 7 Chiefs jersey, which belongs to kicker Harrison Butker. Many flocked to social media to either support or voice their frustrations at the singer.
However, many posts later revealed that the back of the jersey reads “Wallen” instead of “Butker,” as seen below, which he does for many different stadiums he performs at.

Unfortunately, though, social media had already taken over, and many had no choice but to choose their side.
“He literally walks out like this at every concert he does with a local celeb or athlete lol nice try MAGA cult clowns” said one X user.
“Morgan Wallen knows how to make an entrance! Standing up for beliefs with the Chiefs—legendary moment!” said another.
Whether Wallen intended for people to assume he was wearing a Butker jersey or not, the kicker’s name clearly still holds a lot of negative and positive weight with NFL fans.
Harrison Butker Was Not a Fan of the Olympics Opening Ceremony
Many worldwide found the opening ceremony for the 2024 Paris Olympics to be offensive, including Butker.
“Be not deceived, God is not mocked,” he wrote on X. “For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:7-8”
Many in the comments rushed to show their support for the controversial kicker.
“Amen. God will not be mocked. They for sure will not want to mock Him when they stand before Him in judgment one day,” said one X user.
