Dak Prescott would love nothing more than to be down on the field helping his team on Thanksgiving.
The Dallas Cowboys’ annual Thanksgiving Day game provides camera time for him anyway since he is watching the contest against the New York Giants with the team’s coordinators.
Inside AT&T Stadium, Prescott was shown to millions of people across the nation as Fox cameras showed him sitting with a headset on and paying attention to the team’s activities.

Former Cowboys Coach Thinks Franchise Made Mistake With Dak Prescott Extension
The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of a disappointing 4-7 season as they currently play on Thanksgiving.
Before the season, the team signed Prescott to a record-setting extension, which, along with the signing of CeeDee Lamb, will account for a large chunk of the Cowboys’ salary cap in 2025.
The team is already facing an uphill battle now, and this offseason will be another one.
Former Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson believes the franchise made a mistake with Dak Prescott’s deal.
“They’re so financially strapped with all these contracts,” Johnson said on FS1’s “The Herd.”
“First of all, I would’ve never given Prescott a new contract. I would’ve let him play it out. He’s the highest-paid player in the league. He’s not the best player in the league. He wasn’t going to go anywhere. If you go to the Super Bowl with him, hey, wasn’t going to go anywhere. Pay him whatever. If he struggled in the playoffs, then you negotiate. If he got hurt, you save money.
“But they’re so financially strapped right now, I don’t know what they do.”
