Those who watched or listened to Aaron Rodgers’ interview on the Pat McAfee show earlier today was treated to quite the show.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback made his first public statement since it was announced that he had tested positive for Covid and was placed on the Covid-IR for at least 10 days because he’s unvaccinated. During the interview, Rodgers explained why he is unvaccinated and why he refused to follow the league’s Covid protocols. He also claimed “cancel culture” and the “woke mob” were after him.
It was a crazy interview that only seemed to get stranger when the reigning NFL MVP compared himself to the late Martin Luther King Jr.
“I would add this to the mix, as an aside. But the great MLK said that you have a moral obligation to object to unjust rules and rules that make no sense.”
Don’t be surprised if Rodgers is out for a few more weeks with a dislocated shoulder, because that was quite the reach right there.
