Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey has possibly made some enemies after flipping a wild pizza take on Twitter this week.
The opinionated star actually got on the platform to suggest that all pizzas are created equal and there’s no such thing as the best pizza spot, which is very, very wrong.
“I just don’t understand pizza lovers. It’s all the same,” he wrote. “No such thing as the ‘best pizza spot’ blah blah.”
This is a lot worse than the pineapple-on-pizza argument as it invalidates both sides of the debate. Pizza is probably the most argued-over food ever, so Humphrey was always going to cause a stir with his tweet.
Even Dan Orlovsky had to step in and check the Ravens CB in the comments.
“That’s like saying crab cakes in MD ain’t better than everywhere else’s on the planet,” the ESPN analyst countered.

Orlovsky also replied to a fan who agreed with Humphrey.

Pizza is a very touchy subject among food lovers. And, when it comes to the standards that guide the baking thereof, the likes of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are said to be levels above the rest of the country.
