The “Who mattered more: Brady or Belichick” debate shifted another notch in Brady’s direction tonight after the Buffalo Bills manhandled Belichick’s Patriots in their Wild Card battle, 47-17.
The loss leaves Belichick still in search of his second career postseason win without Tom Brady as his quarterback — and his first as the Patriots’ head coach. Meanwhile, ol’ TB12 will be taking on the Philadelphia Eagles tomorrow, as the Bucs quarterback begins his quest for a second Super Bowl without Bill.
It’s looking more and more like the Patriots’ success all those years was more of a Brady thing than a Belichick thing. And social media is noticing.
Many took to Twitter following the Patriots’ embarrassing loss on Saturday night to comment on how the debate has shifted in Brady’s favor big time over the course of the past 12 months.
