It appears there are many folks out there who didn’t believe Shannon Sharpe’s recent IG Live broadcast was accidental.
Sharpe, who now works for ESPN after a seven-year stint at FS1, was caught with his pants down (literally) on Wednesday. The former NFL star was engaged in an extra-curricular activity with a certain “Michelle” when he somehow ended up on the aforementioned platform and exposed himself to the world.
The 56-year-old has since explained his blunder, airing an emergency episode of ‘Nightcap’ with co-host Chad Ochocinco in which he revealed that he wasn’t hacked as initially reported. He claimed to have thrown his phone into the bed right before kicking things off and inexplicably ended up on IG Live.

There are people who reckon Sharpe leaked the session on purpose as a means of trying to convince everyone that he isn’t gay in light of recent rumors.
“I might be tripping but hear me out. Shannon Sharpe was accused of being gay. Now he “mistakenly” goes live while having sex with a woman,” someone posted to X/Twitter. “Doesn’t this look like a plan to change people’s perception about him? This is 2024, for all you know “Michelle” could be a dude.”

Well, we can’t blame anyone for thinking that. But we also don’t imagine that someone would go that far to try to get people that he isn’t gay.
It’s 2024, who cares?
The only thing anyone should care about right now is Michelle’s identity. Anything else is moot.
