The NFL probably wishes the whole conversation surrounding controversial Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson would just go away already. But that clearly isn’t going to be the case…Nor should it.
During last night broadcast of Thursday Night Football between the Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Amazon Prime, sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung provided a report on Watson’s current status, including what he must do in order for the league and the Browns to allow him to step back onto the field.
At the conclusion of Hartung’s report, Michaels interjected by stating, “If 230-million guaranteed doesn’t motivate you to do the things you need to do, then I give up.”
To some, the comments may not have meant much. In fact, there are probably those who actually agree with what Michaels said.
However, there’s a large population on Twitter who were disgusted by Michael’s comments, deeming them “insensitive” and “garbage.”
