The Washington Football Team are not fooling anybody with their latest stunt.
On Thursday, the team announced that they plan to retire the number of the late Sean Taylor, which has been in plans for months. However, the team decided to bring it up again at a time where there is pressure on the NFL to release the findings of 650,000 emails that has gotten Jon Gruden out of the league and ESPN’s Adam Schefter in hot water.
Twitter saw right through this post and blasted the team for this obvious public relations move.

The ceremony will be part of alumni homecoming weekend, which will see Washington host nearly 100 former players at FedExField.
Taylor was a two-time Pro Bowler in four seasons with Washington and a star on the rise when his life would suddenly come to an end at the age of 24 in 2007 after he was shot during an invasion of his home.
