Shannon Sharpe has become quite the popular figure in the world of sports. In fact, you could wasily argue that he’s much more famous now than he ever was during his Pro Football Hall Of Fame career.
Sharpe certainly can’t complain about life right now. He’s living it up…although, sometimes all the limelight can earn you a few jabs from the people at Saturday Night Live.
During last night’s episode, those who stayed up to watch after the epic 49ers-Packers playoff thriller were treated to a hilarious parody of Sharpe’s podcast, “Club Shay Shay.”
In the parody, Sharpe’s guest is Kat Williams, and things get just about as strange as you’d expect between these two:
The skit wasn’t met with the best reception from viewers, but safe to say they absolutely nailed Shannon Sharpe.
Sharpe made big waves during his time on “Undisputed,” when he and Skip Bayless would engage in some must-see yelling matches. Eventually, it became too much for Sharpe, and he moved on to even bigger and better things — like ESPN’s ‘First Take,’ where he can be seen making appearances alongside Stephen A. Smith, who’s another former colleague of Bayless.
