Dexter Lawrence is the most disliked man among Giants fans since Thursday night, but he likely shouldn’t be after video seems to show he did nothing wrong.
The Giants, who fell 29-30 to Washington to mark their second consecutive loss to start the 2021 season, are now staring a major deficit in the face.
The team had seemingly won their first game of the year until a penalty on Dexter Lawrence allowed Washington to kick the game winner from a closer distance.
Footage has since shown that he likely did nothing wrong.
Other versions, however, show Lawrence putting his helmet across the line of scrimmage before the longsnapper started moving the ball.
