Skip Bayless might have buyer’s remorse right now.
Skip Bayless’ new show partners include Michael Irvin, Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson, Rachel Nichols, and Lil’ Wayne, among others.
On Monday, the show finally returned from its hiatus after Shannon Sharpe was bought out after the NBA Finals. It did not take very long for things to get crazy as one segment showed Skip unable to have his voice heard as Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson, & Michael Irvin verbally sparred with each other while Bayless looked on and waited for his turn.
With Shannon Sharpe, the two of them would give each other some time to speak without interruption, but now they have four people on the show battling to get their voices heard. You have to know there will certainly be a meeting so everybody gets a chance to speak.
The bombastic host of FS1’s “Undisputed” started out the show fired up, but as you can see with the above video, this new look with new people will take some getting used to.

Sherman being on the show was no surprise when it was announced. Johnson headed to “Undisputed” after being let go by ESPN in June as part of its latest round of payroll reductions.
Irvin remains suspended by NFL Network and ESPN after being accused of making lewd comments toward a hotel employee at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel ahead of Super Bowl LVII. The 57-year-old has steadfastly denied wrongdoing and filed a $100 million lawsuit against Marriott, claiming he’s being “railroaded.”
Hall-of-Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe will join First Take on Mondays and Tuesdays during football season. Sharpe will debut on September 4.
With ESPN, Sharpe likely replaces Michael Irvin, who is now on Undisputed.
