After another tough playoff exit, you got the sense that it was time for some changes to be made in Dallas. But where? And with who?
Most were calling for the Cowboys to move on from head coach Mike McCarthy, but Jerry Jones made it clear following their Divisional Round loss to the 49ers that he would be sticking with McCarthy for now.
Others wouldn’t mind seeing the team move on from quarterback Dak Prescott, as unlikely as that is.
Skip Bayless would have approved of either of those moves. So when it was offensive coordinator Kellen Moore who took the fall for Prescott’s shortcomings against the Niners, Skip went off on Twitter:
Bayless isn’t wrong here, especially about that last part. If Jerry Jones decides that Mike McCarthy calling plays for Dak Prescott in what the Cowboys need in order to take that next step in 2023, he’s going to be in for quite the disappointment.
