Pop superstar Taylor Swift celebrated Christmas Day by watching her boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as they faced the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift watched the game from a suite while wearing a Santa hat with Kelce’s number on the trim.
Things were not so jolly on this day. The Kansas City Chiefs have now lost three of their past four games after a 20-14 defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders.
After the game, Skip Bayless took to X and fired off an insensitive tweet about Swift’s presence around the defending Super Bowl champs.
“Feels like it’s about time to call Taylor Swift a distraction,” Bayless wrote on Twitter. “What do you think, Patrick? Andy? How about you, Travis?”
You can blame a lot of things for the struggles for the Chiefs but the pop star showing up to cheer is not one of them. The Chiefs are currently on shaky ground with a total record of 9-6, and they will need a strong finish with only two remaining games in the regular season yet to be played.

The defending Super Bowl champions have suffered more losses than any other season with Patrick Mahomes as the quarterback starter.
Swift’s attendance has now totaled eight Chiefs games after she showed up to Monday’s loss to the Raiders.
Kelce first broke his silence about Swift in late September during an episode of his “New Heights” podcast. She attended a game a the stadium as they played the Chicago Bears. The team started 4-0 with her attendance.
The team now holds a 5-3 record when she watches the squad play.
