Skip Bayless tried clowning Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff on X after the QB threw five interceptions against the Houston Texans on Sunday, but fans weren’t having any of it.
Goff had an uncharacteristic game in a Detroit uniform, as he hadn’t thrown an INT in five games and had just four coming into the ‘SNF’ fixture.
The poor performance prompted Skip to mess with the QB’s name, referring to him as “Jared Goof” in a tweet.
“Suddenly he’s turned back into Jared Goof,” the former ESPN and FS1 analyst posted.
Fans Were Not Happy With Skip Bayless

“Jared on his WORST day is better than Dak on his BEST day. Let that shit sink in,” one wrote.
“You’re still a goofy old man with no legacy,” another claimed.
“It’s one game ya hack,” said another.
“Lol not the cowboys fan talking 😂,” someone laughed.
“Go to bed,” someone else advised.
“Lions going to the playoffs. Your cowturds circling the toilet 🚽 💩,” another comment read.
In any case, Goff was able to help the Lions tie things up at 23 apiece in the fourth quarter, despite his five INTs, before they completed the comeback with a last-second field goal from 52 yards out.
