The Dallas Cowboys have finally set their QB position for the next few years after they agreed with Dak Prescott on a four-year contract worth $160 million, per Adam Schefter. It includes $126 million in guaranteed money.
Schefter followed up that the deal could be worth up to $164 million and includes $66 million to sign and $75 million in his first year. If you cannot tell, all of those numbers are records.
After the deal, noted Cowboys lover Skip Bayless grabbed his phone and reacted with complete happiness that his team finally got the deal done.
The team will formally announce the deal in a press conference on Wednesday.
Prescott played last season on the franchise tag, but saw his season cut short in his fifth game due to a fractured ankle.
His best season of his career came in 2019 when he toosed for 4,902 yards, with 30 touchdowns and 11 interceptions and added 277 rushing yards and three rushing scores.
