Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is playing in his first game since he injured his hand during a week one loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In his absence, Cooper Rush has led the team to a 4-1 record, beating the Bengals, Giants, Commanders and Rams, before losing a close one to the Eagles on the road. Needless to say, he’s set the bar awfully high for Dak in his return, and it appears as though die-hard Cowboys fan Skip Bayless is pushing that bar even higher.
As Dallas was getting set to kick off against the Detroit Lions at AT&T Stadium, Bayless took to Twitter to let his followers now what his expectations are for Prescott in his return.
I understand Bayless’ mentality, as the Lions defense has been gashed on a weekly basis this season.
That being said, I’m sure the Cowboys players and coaching staff will be happy with a simple “W,” no matter how many points it takes for them to get it.
