Skip Bayless is mad about the Dallas Cowboys losing in the playoffs, but it was made even worse when he heard what Dak Prescott said about the fans throwing trash on the field after the game.
After a chaotic NFC wild-card playoff game ended in disappointment for Cowboys fans, some of them rained down debris on the field as officials ran to the exit tunnel.
Some speculated that the fans were throwing stuff at Cowboys players, which was relayed to Prescott after the game. The Cowboys QB expressed disappointment to reporters when he thought fans were throwing stuff at players. When he heard otherwise, he changed his tune.
“Credit to them, then,” Prescott said.
Skip Bayless hated everything about that, so he blasted him for condoning fan violence.
“Yesterday Dak went completely over the edge. That was just so wrong. You’re the face of the franchise, you make $75M and you’re condoning fan violence? It was stunning to me.”

Officials drew ire from the Dallas crowd after appearing to delay and get in the way of Prescott’s attempt to spike the ball with seconds remaining in the game. Prescott handed the ball to the center rather than an official and ultimately did not get the spike off in time, ending the game.
“The fans felt the same way as us,” Prescott said after the game. “I guess that’s why the refs took off and got out of there so fast. I think everybody is upset with the way this thing played out.”
The referee crew maintained after the game that the umpire spotted the ball correctly and was a reasonable length of space away from where the play was taking place.
“The umpire collided with the players as he was setting the ball because he was moving it to the proper spot,” referee Alex Kemp said.
