Roger Goodell has some explaining to do.
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Buffalo Bills in a game that featured some truly controversial calls.
The team is preparing to advance to its third straight Super Bowl and fourth in the last five years.
In 2023, the Chiefs were taking on the Philadelphia Eagles as they won 38-35.
After that game, commissioner Roger Goodell had a curious moment: He could be seen being picked up in Chris Jones’s arms and embraced by him.

“@nflcommish spent 19 more seconds on the Patriots stage speaking and handing over the Lombardi after SB 49 before being booed off then he did in this single video hugging a KC Chief,” one fan of Roger Goodell.

“After the on field celebration of winning that Super Bowl, Goodell showed how deep his throat game was with Chris Jones, Kelce and Mahomes, word in the locker room afterwards was that Roger is the throat GOAT. He’s still not disappointing the Chiefs to this day,” another fan commented.

One final fan added: “I like him as a commissioner n he seems like a good person. But you can’t embrace players that way , happy or not, w out getting pushback. A firm hand shake s congratulations is more par for the course. Just can’t see Rozell or Tagliabue doing that.”

Calls Mount For Roger Goodell And The League to Make Sweeping Changes
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans in the divisional round in a game filled with questionable calls. The Chiefs then defeated the Buffalo Bills in a game that was also controversial.
The NFL has been under fire, as some fans claim games have been “rigged” and feature “blatant cheating.”
After the Chiefs’ win in the AFC Championship Game, more and more people are speaking out against the NFL’s poor officiating and how it has favored the Chiefs.
There were multiple questionable calls, and fans are calling for Roger Goodell to make some changes to ensure the integrity of the league.
In response to backlash, ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter announced prior to the Chiefs’ matchup with the Bills that NFL replay assist could expand next season to include things such as the quarterback slide.
That is just one step.
