Despite not having a top quarterback at his disposal anymore, DK Metcalf has seemingly been continuing to score during the offseason.
The Seattle Seahawks WR was spotted having dinner with singer Normani in Santa Monica over the weekend.
“DK Metcalf’s future in the NFL is up in the air, but his present was looking mighty fine on Sunday, June 12. DK, 24, joined Normani for dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California. Normani, 26, wore a little black dress for the evening, accented with a bit of sparkle around her neck and ankles. The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver kept it casual, rocking a t-shirt and jeans combo, along with a pink coat covered in NBA team logos.
The two reportedly arrived at the Los Angeles eatery separately but left together in the same car. It’s unclear the status of their relationship.”
Metcalf has been the subject of trade rumors all offseason, and that speculation ramped up after the Seattle Seahawks traded Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said on “SportsCenter” Sunday that the Seahawks are focused on trying to sign Metcalf to a contract extension. The former second-round pick is entering the final season of his rookie deal.

“The people I’m talking to believe that Seattle will be aggressive sometime this summer in trying to hammer out a deal,” Fowler said. “This could be similar to the Jamal Adams situation last year — different positions, but Adams missed some time in the offseason last year and sort of did one of those hold-ins where you don’t participate in anything. That pressed the issue and they eventually got something done. Metcalf could follow a similar path.”
Metcalf will make just under $4 million in 2022. Last season, he had 75 catches for 967 yards and 12 touchdowns.
