Owens began his NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State in 2018. Owne would not play in the league until 2019 with the Houston Texans, with whom he spent four seasons. That is where he ultimately would find his wife.
The 28-year-old played 14 games across his first three seasons in Houston, posting one interception, one pass defended, one fumble recovery, and 18 tackles, before his breakout year with the franchise in 2022 where he recorded four passes defended, one sack, and 125 tackles in 17 games.
The Packers signed Owens to a one-year deal ahead of the 2023 campaign and he racked up three passes defended, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and 84 tackles in 17 games. He also made seven tackles in two playoff games for Green Bay.
He now heads to their most hated rival to continue his career.
