All 32 of the NFL’s teams have received a memo informing them that underclassmen will be allowed to participate in college All-Star games such as the Shrine Bowl, Senior Bowl, and HBCU Legacy Bowl moving forward.
The news caused a real stir on social media, drawing a range of reactions as fans are both for and against the change.

This comes across as a massive change as it would benefit juniors who declare for the draft but won’t get in front of scouts outside of the NFL Scouting Combine and their college’s Pro Day. It also means fans could get to see the likes of Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Marvin Harrison Jr. in an All-Star setting after the season is done.
Seniors were the only ones allowed to play in such games, which meant underclassmen had limited exposure. But this changes things, though the window to get into one of these games will be a lot tighter.
The change will take effect immediately for the 2024 NFL Draft.
