The NFL had quite the opening week, and one of the significant reporters who headlined one of the week-one games was Erin Andrews. She was the sideline reporter in Cleveland for the Browns vs. Cowboys game.
During the week one game in Cleveland, there was also one of the most anticipated broadcasting debuts in NFL history as Tom Brady debuted during the 33-17 Cowboys win.
While Brady may have been the big story on Sunday night, Andrews kept her stories behind the scenes. The 20-plus-year vet has been struggling despite coming across as her usual self.
“It was a lot because it’s Week 1, and for some reason — I was talking to my dad, I was talking to you, you were picking me up off the floor — just have a lot going on,” Andrews told her ‘Calm Down‘ podcast co-host, Charissa Thompson.

Erin Andrews Almost Didn’t Show Up For Week One
Andrews continued by stressing, “I have a lot going on. For some reason, I didn’t feel like Stella had her groove. I will tell you this: I was really struggling in the confidence area of the show.”
The 46-year-old seemed to have been having a lot of personal struggles. “Just dealing with a lot of stuff going on with the baby [son Mack, whom she had with her former NHL player husband, Jarret Stoll] our house, our air conditioner crapped the bed the night before the game. [It’s] 80 degrees inside our house and I’ve got a baby and a dog, it was just a lot,” she said.

Andrews is fine, though. As she said later in the podcast, she will be all good once she hits the sideline. She seems content with her position, and NFL fans will see her for at least a few more years.
