A fascinating study shows what Travis Kelce fantasy football owners would do if the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end broke up with his girlfriend, Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been in a highly publicized relationship for more than a year. The relationship has brought plenty more global attention toward Kelce, the Chiefs and the NFL.
Most “Swifties” seem to love Kelce, and which passionate Chiefs fans don’t love one of their star players dating the world’s most famous musician? If fans of Kelce and Swift get their way, these two will tie the knot in the not-super-distant future.
The good folks at RotoGrinders recently conducted a survey of fantasy football players on various topics. One such finding? 26 percent of players who own Travis Kelce would drop him if he broke up with Swift. 3,062 people were used in the survey.
“Meanwhile, 26% of people surveyed said they would drop Travis Kelce if his relationship with Taylor Swift ended, and that they’d change their team based on Swift’s own picks if she made them public.”

Interestingly, 26 percent of those surveyed admitted that they would let Swift influence their fantasy football team. That is, they’d change their team if the singer “revealed her own selections to the public.”
Folks hoping that Swift and Kelce break up so that they can pick him up in fantasy football shouldn’t get their hopes up. They’re a tremendously happy and flourishing couple by all accounts, and waiting on Kelce to become a free agent (if he breaks up with Swift) is one of the worst strategies any fantasy player could try.
Travis Kelce & Chiefs Host The Raiders On Black Friday
The 35-year-old Travis Kelce isn’t having his best statistical season by any means (68 receptions for 569 yards and two touchdowns), but history suggests he’ll turn back the clock in the postseason.
The 10-1 Chiefs are narrowly ahead of the 9-2 Buffalo Bills for the top seed in the AFC. Kansas City will try to push themselves closer to securing the first-round bye when they host the AFC West rival Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday.
