Shawne Merriman is not letting up on the Dallas Cowboys and what went down on Sunday.
In total, 20 penalties were committed between the Cowboys and Chargers. 12 of them were against the home team. Things truly came to a head in the second quarter when the Bolts were flagged eight times.
In the 4th quarter, Justin Herbert found Cook for a touchdown that seemingly gave them the lead. Penalty flags would soon fly and Cook would be hit with a taunting penalty. The illegal shift voided the score. Instead of going up 21-17, the Chargers had to settle for a field goal.
The Cowboys then shut the door on the Chargers with an 11-play drive that ended in a game-winning 56-yard field goal as time expired.
Shawne Merriman was highly upset as he took to Twitter and blasted the Cowboys for having the refs in their pocket.
