After news that Shannon Sharpe was leaving Fox Sports, the hall-of-fame tight end was back on Undisputed this week arguing about sports with Skip Bayless.
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has made headlines this week after he pushed back on previous criticisms about skipping Green Bay Packers OTAs in 2022.
“I won MVP without doing offseason workouts,” the star quarterback said.
Shannon Sharpe hated everything about what he said and he took aim at the future hall of famer on the latest episode of Undisputed.
“This is the Aaron Rodgers we know,” Sharpe said. “He speaks a lot of ‘I.’ ‘I’ won the MVP… I’ve never heard any other great quarterback mention that.”
Sharpe added he thought Rodgers should’ve gotten extra time in with his young receivers that could’ve corrected a lot of issues on offense they had. It wasn’t till late in the year when rookie wide receiver Christian Wood started to blossom. That likely could’ve happened a lot sooner if Rodgers was at camp.

For his new team, Rodgers has been a regular at Jets’ OTAs as he continues to work with his young core in hopes things will run much smoother for a team that is looked at as a Super Bowl contender.
If Rodgers is able to succeed with the Jets, then the New York media will certainly be putting him on a pedestal. However, if he fails, it could get ugly real quick seeing as how Rodgers will defend himself.
For now, he is saying and doing the right things.
