Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have quite the relationship that has seen both of them get into a back-and-forth battle on live television that had many questioning whether they would continue to make it as a duo.
Even through it all, they still remain loyal to each other as they continue to take their Undisputed show to new heights. That doesn’t mean they won’t take shots at each other.
Appearing on the New Heights podcast, Sharpe was asked by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce if he thinks Skip Bayless could get one rushing yard in the NFL. Kelce made it a point of stating that he did not answer the question, but Sharpe was more than ready to give his answer.
That led to a hilarious reaction.
“We’re asking you, right here, right now, could Skip Bayless get a SINGLE yard in the National Football League?” Kelce asked.
“No,” Sharpe said with a smile, drawing a massive laugh from Kelce and his brother. But Sharpe then clarified to say that Bayless is so hated that players would go “out of their way” to ensure that he doesn’t get a yard.
“I’m not saying that because he’s average. Ain’t no way they’re gonna let him get a yard. Ain’t no way. They’re gonna go out of their way. And I’m not so sure the offensive line is gonna block for him to get that yard! That’s what’s gonna happen with that one.”
Nobody is denying what Sharpe is saying, because Skip has never had a frame to play football.

Fox Sports television personality Skip Bayless has become a prominent figure in the sports media over the last decade or so. He made a name for himself by being the most vocal critic of LeBron James throughout his pro career.
Bayless of course used to work for ESPN for many years. He and Stephen A. Smith were the original duos of the show “First Take.” He would, however, leave and took his opinions to Fox Sports to co-host “Undisputed” with legendary Hall of Fame football player Shannon Sharpe.
