Russell Wilson is getting entirely smoked on social media and in the media for another lackluster performance out on the field.
The Broncos lost in overtime Thursday night to the Indianapolis Colts behind yet another uninspiring performance from Wilson. The QB completed 21 of 39 passes for 274 yards with no touchdowns and a pair of interceptions.
Wilson and the Broncos had a chance to win on what would be the final play of the game, but the quarterback missed a wide-open K.J. Hamler on fourth-and-1 from the 5-yard line to end it in overtime.
On Friday morning, Shannon Sharpe roasted his performance as well as him using the saying “Broncos Country, let’s ride.”
“Every time I turn around, ‘Broncos Country, let’s ride.’ Bruh, the car broke down,” Sharpe said. “You’re not riding, you’re walking. So how the hell are you gonna talk about ‘let’s ride.’ Your car broke down. Either you’re out of gas or the car needs repairs. Either way, Russell Wilson has got to play better.”
Wilson has taken plenty of criticism for his performance Thursday night as well as every game since his stellar Week one outing.
