Shannon Sharpe is offering a significant reward for any information leading to an arrest and a conviction following a reported burglary at his Los Angeles home.
TMZ has reported that the former NFL star lost around $1 million in valuables when his house was broken into on the evening of May 19.
Sharpe’s face is one of the most recognizable following a 14-year NFL career that’s landed him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, while he’s now a staple on television as he co-hosts FS1’s Undisputed alongside Skip Bayless and Jennifer Hale. It appears the former Broncos star’s popularity has made him a target as his home was burglarized while he enjoyed dinner with friends last week.
The 54-year-old called the police after returning home and realizing that something was wrong and is reported to have told the lawmen that he was missing items including watches, jewelry, and designer bags understood to be valued at a collective $1 million.
The police told TMZ that there were no signs of forced entry.
No arrests have been made while they continue to investigate the matter but Sharpe isn’t resting on his laurels while the authorities work and is offering a $50,000 reward for information.

He doesn’t appear to be bothered by the incident, at least not on camera, as he’s been carrying on with his job on television as he covers the NFL and NBA debate style opposite Bayless.
