Ezekiel Elliott was ‘lowkey faded, but he meant that he had some drinks, not that he was high off marijuana as many articles stated.
The Dallas Cowboys star running back was not happy with him being mislabeled, so he took to Twitter and threatened to sue Sports Illustrated on Monday after the famed magazine ran a column online with the headline, “Ezekiel Elliott Forgets to Log Off, Admits to Being High on Twitch.”
“Actually I was referring to the few drinks I had which I said during the live stream. Doesn’t that make this defamation? You guys will [be] hearing from my lawyers @SInow,” Elliott tweeted Monday.
Whatever the case may be, it did not take long for the media to make it a topic of discussion and that included The Undisputed.
On Tuesday’s version of the show, Shannon Sharpe reacted to the story by stating he was faded himself.
“Truth be told, I’m lowkey faded myself,” as Sharpe begans to laugh.
