The Dallas Cowboys nor their fan base saw this loss coming today.
The Cowboys were riding a six-game winning streak and ready to make it seven in a row with starting QB Dak Prescott back in the lineup. However, the Denver Broncos shut down the Dallas Cowboys with a dominant 30-16 win at AT&T Stadium.
Dallas trailed 16-0 at halftime. Denver made it 27-0 when Teddy Bridgewater scored on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter. The Cowboys were shutout in the first half for the first time since a home loss to Green Bay in October 2019.
After the loss, former Broncos tight end and Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe took to social media and roasted the Cowboys.
Prescott was held below 100 passing yards with one interception, prior to racking up a bunch of garbage time yards and points in the 4th quarter. That made his stat line look a lot more respectable, as he finished the game going 19-of-39 for 232 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Teddy Bridgewater went for 249 passing yards and a touchdown in the win.
