The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Detroit Lions 26-20 in their preseason matchup, but it became a footnote to what happen in the stands involving several fans.
During the Steelers preseason game against the Detroit Lions on Saturday, a woman at Heinz Field escalated a verbal argument when she slapped a man in the face. The man cocked his fist back to hit her, but thought better of it before turning his attention to her husband.
They traded blows before the husband would ultimately power down to a nap after a vicious punch left him unconscious and dreaming of the days where he was not being punched in the face because of what his wife did.
Former NFL tight end turned FOX personality Shannon Sharpe had the perfect message for what went down.
“Ppl, keep your hands to yourself and control your alcohol. This was very avoidable,” he tweeted.
