DK Metcalf is one of the most physically imposing rookies to come into the NFL in a long time, but it looks like he be on the sidelines for awhile after head coach Pete Carroll told reporters he will undergo knee surgery Tuesday.
There were no details on the type of surgery, but according to NFL Network’s Pelissero, Metcalf’s injury happened a few days ago, and doctors have a clear look on the MRI and think it will be a quick recovery.
The Seahawks rookie was selected in the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The team opens their regular season against the Bengals on Sept. 8.
