The Seattle Seahawks are releasing a two-time Super Bowl champion and three-time Pro Bowl defensive end from their roster.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Brady Henderson, the team has released two-time Super Bowl champion Frank Clark from their roster. Clark returned to Seattle and played six games for them following his release from the Denver Broncos.
Clark, who won Super Bowl championships with the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2019 and 2022 seasons, was released in a cap-saving move. He then signed with the rival Broncos but played just two games before getting cut.
The 30-year-old didn’t have a single sack for the Seahawks nor the Broncos in eight total games this season. For his career, Clark has has 58.5 sacks, 13 pass defenses,14 forced fumbles and 271 combined tackles.
Coming off their second straight win, the Seahawks (8-7) will try to keep their playoff hopes alive when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers tomorrow.
