With the Cleveland Browns controversially signing DeShaun Watson to a contract this offseason, despite his off the field issues, this has led to Baker Mayfield requesting a trade from the team that drafted him with the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
One team that has been continually rumored to be interested in Mayfield is the Seattle Seahawks. With Geno Smith, Drew Lock and Jacob Eason as the three quarterbacks currently on the Seahawks roster, an upgrade at the position is definitely needed.
The official online shop of the Seahawks has added fuel to the fire concerning these rumors, as they recently posted a Mayfield jersey for sale.
At this point, a trade between the Browns and Seahawks seems inevitable. Expect for this trade to become official in the very near future.
