If Sean Payton was trying to send a message, he made one loud and clear on Wednesday.
During an interview about the missed pass interference call in the NFC Championship game that cost the New Orleans Saints a chance to advance to Super Bowl 53, fans began to notice a peculiar t-shirt he was wearing underneath his collared shirt.
It turns out Payton was rocking a Barstool Sports original Roger Goodell Clown t-shirt:
Barstool famously created the shirt after Tom Brady was suspended for 4 games, only to come back and win a Super Bowl that same year. The commissioner walked into Gillette stadium the following season and was forced to see thousands of Patriots fans rocking the shirt.
