NFL insider Mike Florio dropped a bombshell report on Saturday when he suggested the New Orleans Saints are actually willing to move on from WR Michael Thomas for the right price.
Well, it appears Sean Payton has something to say about that report.
He didn’t respond to Florio directly, but Payton tweeted out the following message: “Insiders on the outside where they belong.”
The plan was for Thomas to return to the lineup in Week 7, but he’s been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
In 2020, Thomas has appeared in one game for the Saints and caught three passes for 17 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
