Aaron Rodgers was left visibly frustrated with how the Green Bay Packers were performing during the first half of their game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The relationship between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers wideouts without Davante Adams started off incredibly shaky. Several minutes into the first quarter, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson dropped a sure-fire touchdown.
Cameras caught Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines fuming.
It was some behavior that Sean Payton could not get behind.
During an interview with Lindsay Rhodes, the former Saints head coach was asked about Rodgers’ “‘tough love’ approach with his teammates.”

He responded by saying, “It drives me crazy.”
Before the season even started, Rodgers was already calling out his young WR’s for dropping passes and running the wrong route.
“The young guys, especially young receivers, we’ve got to be way more consistent,” Rodgers said, according to ESPN. “A lot of drops, a lot of bad route decisions, running the wrong route. We’ve got to get better in that area.”
The Packers decided to trade Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders.
“You keep dropping the ball, you’re not going to be out there,” Rodgers said. “It’s going to be the most reliable guys that are out there. The preparation and the job responsibility is most important. There’s going to be physical mistakes, like we’ve talked about, but if you’re going out there and dropping the ball and somebody else behind you is in the right spot all the time and catching the ball, that guy’s going to play.”
It might be a long year for the Packers.
