Veronika Khomyn, the fiancée of Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay, posted an Instagram story on Wednesday that stated he’s not planning to retire from coaching.
McVay provided a similar outlook during the Rams’ championship parade when he chanted “run it back,” which suggested he planned to return despite rumors about a potential switch to broadcasting. Now that McVay is coming back, the conversation shifts to whether Aaron Donald is truly going to hang up his cleats.
Despite their cap situation, the Rams will remain one of the many favorites to run the table again during the 2022 season and possibly make a return trip to the big game. Having Aaron Donald on your defense is a big way to make that happen.
The team will also need to make a decision on Odell Beckham Jr., who tore his ACL and will likely be out until at least October. Without OBJ, the Rams do not make it as far as they did without his play.
Even if McVay stepped away, one look at his soon to be wife will have you not blaming him one bit.
