The Los Angeles Rams announced some wonderful news on Wednesday involving head coach Sean McVay and his wife, Veronika.
On X (formerly known as Twitter), the Rams announced that McVay and Veronika welcomed their baby boy, Jordan John McVay.
Back in June, McVay announced that he and Veronika were expecting their first child. Ahead of the club’s Week 6 home contest against the Arizona Cardinals, McVay stated that Veronika would give birth to their child any day.
McVay would have missed the game against Arizona if Jordan had been born beforehand. The Rams won 26-9 to improve to 3-3 before dropping their Week 7 contest to the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers.
The couple met while McVay was on Washington’s coaching staff. Veronika was attending George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia at the time. The couple tied the knot in 2022 three years after their engagement.
McVay was hired as the Rams’ new head coach back in 2017 at the age of 31. He instantly transformed the Rams into an NFC powerhouse, leading them to five straight winning season to begin his coaching career.

Los Angeles went on to win three NFC West division titles (2017, 2018 and 2021), two NFC Championships (2018 and 2021) and of course Super Bowl 56 during McVay’s first five years on the job.
Congratulations to coach McVay and Veronika on becoming parents for the first time!
